S&H Employee Benefit Package

S&H Machine offers a comprehensive benefit package to attract the best employees and keep them here. The following benefits are for all eligible Employees of S&H Machine:
HEALTH INSURANCE
HMO Plan 100% paid by S&H Machine for the employee. Employees have the option to pay the difference to obtain coverage for their family members or upgrade to another health plan. **GROUP LIFE INSURANCE
Paid by S&H Machine. **ADDITIONAL LIFE INSURANCE
Paid by employee at a competitive group rate. **DISABILITY INSURANCE
50% paid by S&H Machine and 50% paid by the employee.**DENTAL
$275.00 total per year in dental care at specified dental offices for employee and family paid by S&H Machine. **401k / PROFIT SHARING
Each year a contribution is made by the company into the employee’s retirement fund. Employees choose to invest this money in cash, stock, or bond funds of employee’s choosing. Employees may also elect to defer money into their 401k plan. ***VACATION
2 Weeks Vacation is paid to each employee after 1 year of employment and 3 Weeks Vacation after 5 years. ***HOLIDAY PAY
Employees are paid for 7 major holidays each year. **VISION
Annual eye exams ($50.00 Maximum) and Prescription Glasses (Up to $150.00) per year. **BONUSES
Employees may be given bonuses at anytime and at the discretion of management; bonuses may be based on merit, length of service, position, skills, work performed, and / or company profits. Currently all employees receive bonuses quarterly.EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH / EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR
Each month S&H employees submit a vote to elect the Employee of the Month. Typically this award is given to the employee who best exemplifies outstanding teamwork, exceptional quality and whose actions help to create value for the company. The benefit for receiving this award is an extra eight hours of pay. At the end of the year the Management Team reviews the twelve “Employee of the Month” recipients and elects one employee from this pool as the Employee of the Year. The benefit for receiving this award is an additional forty hours of pay.** Eligibility begins after one month of Full-Time Employment

TERMS, ELIGIBILITY AND DEFINITIONS
The Corporation reserves the right to alter, amend, modify, suspend or terminate any or all of the benefits listed above at any time and in any respect. ”Covered / Eligible Employees” shall mean all full time employees who have been with the corporation for more than one year (for the 401k / Profit Sharing Plan) or more than one month (for all other benefits listed above) as of the start of a calendar year. A “full time employee” shall be defined as an employee who regularly works more than 25 hours per pay period.Qualified Applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to Race, Religion, Color, Sex, or National Origin.
