QUALITY CONTROL

“Our guarantee is ‘We won’t let you down.'”
David Fisher, President, S&H Machine

Quality and precision is in our DNA.  Our Quality Management System is certified to both the ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.

The ISO 9001 certification ensures that you can trust us to comply with the requirements for document and data control, management review, process control, calibration and measuring equipment, in-process inspection and more, all while maintaining our commitment to continuous improvement.

The AS9100 certification shows that we meet the additional standards for quality and safety in the Aerospace industry.

All inspection equipment is calibrated in accordance with and traceable to the requirements of ISO 10012, ISO 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.1.

Consistent Quality Acceptance ratings of greater than 99.9% reinforces the message that your parts will be manufactured to the highest standards.  Our team of talented engineers, machinists, programmers and quality control staff all play an important role in each step of the manufacturing process.

We use the procedures and techniques learned from Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) planning and Statistical Process Control (SPC) using Net-Inspect to develop control, reduce risk and promote reliable workflow, and our First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) are compliant with the AS9102 standard.  These quality tools ensure that each step of our production planning, manufacturing and approval process is analyzed thoroughly, that all design records and specification requirements are properly understood and realized, and that both the production team and the client will be satisfied with the results of our labor.

four individuals working together in what appears to be a machining workshop. They are gathered around a large piece of equipment – likely a precision measurement tool or a CNC machine – focusing on a part or component that one of them is holding. One person is adjusting or measuring something on the machine with a dial indicator, which is used to measure small distances or angles. The men are dressed in casual work attire, with one wearing a buttoned shop coat, which suggests a hands-on engineering or technical environment. There's a Haas machine in the background, indicating that this is a workshop with CNC capabilities. The team seems engaged and cooperative, indicative of a collaborative work environment.
